Before Jennifer’s exhibition opened, this piece, “May God Protect” had already sold. When I finally saw it, she asked, “Does this look familiar?” It took me a short minute, but I saw the HERSTORY in her work and felt so honored.

She then walked me around the exhibition, showing me more works of phenomenal women that she is inspired by: Valerie Gillespie, co-owner of Pencil on Paper Gallery; Daisha Board, owner of The Daisha Board Gallery; and her daughter, Indigo, survivor. “Patchwork,” Jennifer’s first solo exhibition, was an overwhelming success.

Daisha Board Gallery
“May God Protect” (2022) by Jennifer Monet Cowley inspired by shots from Krystal René of muse J LeShaé. 3 women – Dallas-born and bred – up as art – at the Daisha Board Gallery. THAT’S Women’s Herstory.
Thank you Jennifer.
