The Case for Self Study is a 7-part zine series that proposes internal investigation as a prerequisite for transformation and liberation. Each zine offers an eclectic compilation of art, essays, creative stories, and critical questions channeled from J’s afro-ancestral lens on culture, power, and truth. This series is the fruit of nearly 20 years of applied research on identity development, activist practice, and social change.
